INTRODUCTION
Estimates of county-to-county commodity trade flows underlay key aspects of IMPLAN’s economic impact model – including regional purchase coefficients and multi-regional input-output. IMPLAN's Trade Flow Data are available for use in external analysis and applications via IMPLAN’s Data Library. This webinar explored IMPLAN’s process for building trade flow data from conceptualization to source data. We also discussed the best way to access these data in IMPLAN Data Library, both in data tables and visualization. Finally, we discussed how clients are currently using trade data and additional applications.
