IMPLAN Pro: Creating, Copying, Editing & Deleting Existing Activities

The Activity is a container that holds the Event, which is the Direct Impact. The Setup Activities screen can be found under the Task bar on the left side of the Software.

When your Activities have been created, they may be modified or deleted.

Select New Activity.

You will be prompted to select and enter the following:

• Activity Type - This is the type of Activity you are trying to Model. The most common Type of Activity is Industry Change for Production changes.
• Name the New Activity - Provide your Activity a Name.
• Activity Level - This is the number of occurrences of your impact in the year.

Your Activity has been created!!

Activities can be copied and pasted within the same model to speed up Activity creation.

Copies the current highlighted Activity and all the Events associated to the Activity. Once an Activity has
been copied, the Copy Activity button is deactivated, and the Paste Activity button activates.

Paste Activity remains highlighted until the Activity is pasted into the model. Paste Activity locks out other Activity functions, with the exception of Activity Options. Once the Activity has been pasted, Paste Activity becomes inactive, and Copy Activity is available again.

After an Activity is created, the Activity Name and Activity Level can be modified in .

Before clicking , ensure the correct Activity is selected. The selected Activity is indicated by a to the left of the Activity Name.

Clicking  opens the Edit Existing Activity window.

The Activity name is highlighted. Both the Activity Name and Activity Level can be modified. Once editing is complete, click  to return to the main screen. Note: These properties can also be edited if you import an Activity.

To delete an Activity, ensure the correct Activity is selected, as indicated by the  to the left of the Activity Name. To delete the Activity from the list, click  . The highlighted Activity and the Events associate to the Activity will be removed.
