IMPLAN Pro: Summary Results

In the Scenario Results screen are three tabs that provide results reports. By default Summary Results will display, which includes two result tables: Total Impact Summary and Top Ten Industries Affected. This article discusses the Summary Results tab. 

TOTAL IMPACT SUMMARY:

This table lists the Direct, Indirect, Induced, and Total effects of Employment, Labor Income, Value Added, and Output to provide a quick overview of the Scenario's impact.

TOP TEN INDUSTRIES AFFECTED:

The Top Ten Industries Affected table lists the ten industries which experience the largest effects, which can be sorted by:

By default, the Top Ten Industries will be sorted by Top Ten By: Employment. The values will arrange in descending order for the selected field. The Top Ten industries listed may vary depending on the view. 

FOR EXAMPLE:

These are the same impact results sorted by Output. Notice that sectors 361 and 115 are listed here but were not listed above. This is because they have no associated Employment values. Sectors 329 and 324 are gone because their Output values are small. Other Sectors have taken their places in the table.
