2007 data vs. 2006 data: Moving between the two

    You will run into "pricing" problems, mixing 2006 prices with 2007 prices. The software will nont let you combine. You will either need to buy the missing states as 2006 data, or all of them as 2007 data. Note that even if we allowed mixing prices, there is a sectoring change between 2006 and 2007 which makes it impossible to combine. 2007 structural matrices will only work with the 2007 data.

    Thanks for the quick response. I don't want to mix them. For example, if I have a project in Louisiana and I have 2006 data for that state. I run the impacts for that project. And then I have 2007 data for a project in Michigan. Besides the data sets, of course, is the only thing I need change before I change projects, the structural matrices? Thanks, Kent

    2007 data files will require that you download 2007 structural matrices. Be aware that 2007 data is the first year to be based on the 2002 BEA benchmark matrices, so the sectoring scheme is different. You can download the new scheme from this site.
