I'm analyzing a county that contains a Census Designated Place (CDP): specifically, Ft Belvoir in VA. Ft B is considered the largest employer in the county with over 22,000 employees, yet it does not seem to be reflected in the IMPLAN Top 10 Industries by Employment. 1)Are CDPs included in county data? 2)Are Federal/Military jobs included?

  Just looked at 2008 Fairfax County data(contains Fort Belvoir). It shows 6500 military, 35,500 civilian (the majority of some bases' jobs are civil employees) and 682 Other Federal Enterprise (base retail shops, bowling alley, theatre, etc). The BLS CEW data does not cover military employment - our estimate comes from REIS. The 2008 combined Fairfax County, Fairfax City and Falls Church military employment shows 7,400.
