Impact of unemployment benefit

Hi, I am estimating the economic impact of unemployment benefit at state level. I think it is an additional disposable income to households. However,I don't know which income category of household is more close to the beneficiariy household. Could you suggest me how to choose a 'right' household category?

    What is the average (annualized) unemployment compensation per person? Use that household class or maybe one higher if the you think that some of the households might have working members.
