adjusting employee compensation

I am measuring the impact of a new warehouse through change in employment (300 new employees). The resulting employee compensation is approx $56K per employee. However, average salary will be $40,500, and using the 440 EC to WS excel sheet, this equates to $48K. Do you recommend I adjust the employee compensation in the model?

  • Is your data showing employee compensation is 56k/employee or is that what the IMPLAN study area data is showing? If it is IMPLAN data that shows 56k/employee and your wage and salary for the new warehouse indicates a lower rate, then I would edit to match the $48k per employee.
