breaking out employment impacts
I have calculated the total employment impact in a county from the shutdown of a factory. That is, I have the total of direct, indirect, and induced employment reductions. Now I want to divide that total into economic sectors (or sector aggregates). I know how to construct the aggregates. I don't know how to allocate the total among the sectors.
Much thanks.

IMPLAN SupportHi Michael, It sounds like you have the full detail 440 employment results but want to aggregate them. We would recommend doing this through the software rather than trying to accomplish it with a manual distribution. If you are using a standard aggregation, you can just import it into the aggregation builder scheme, close the window, and then aggregated results. http://implan.com/V4/index.php?option=com_multicategories&view=article&id=531:531&Itemid=14#ag%20result If you have a custom scheme in mind you can build it in the aggregation builder, http://implan.com/V4/index.php?option=com_multicategories&view=article&id=556:556&Itemid=71#create, and then close the window, and aggregate the results. The key here is to not aggregate the model itself, just to have the aggregation scheme in the left-hand side window. This will allow the user scheme button to be activated. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.0 -
No, I don't have the employment results broken out by sector. That is exactly what I need to learn how to do. Thanks.0
