In estimating the impact of local spending associated with construction of an industrial facility, should the purchase price of the land be included in the "industry sales" value entered when specifying the event details?

IMPLAN SupportHello Carolyn, Land acquisition in and of itself will not produce any economic activity, as it is simply an asset swap. However, any real estate fees, legal fees, etc. associated with the acquisition can certainly be modeled.
