Troubleshooting: Errors with Imported Templates

Hi - I'm getting two errors: 1) When trying to import industry change activities from the activity template into the software, I am getting this error and then it crashes: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. 2) When trying to edit an industry spending pattern from the activity template into the software, the spending pattern imports fine, and I can edit the years of the events fine, but when I try to edit the LPCs I get this error and then it crashes: Index was outside the bounds of the array. I am using the latest version of the software (3.0.17.2) and am using the pre-defined activity templates from the software that I have edited.

  • Hi RLV, Thanks for providing that file for us, that helped us to resolve this issue. The cause of both errors is that you have a Sector 425 in your spreadsheet, and the Model's Event only go up to 440. This is causing the import sheet to error out, and then the software's inability to discern what to do with that extraneous Sector and its lack of LPP/RPC value is what is preventing your ability to set the Change All>LPP field. If this is a mistype, simply correcting the Sector number should resolve your issue. If you have selected your Sectors based on a 509 Sectoring scheme (the Sectoring scheme of the 2001-2006 models) you will want to bridge to 440 before importing.
