household income and proprietors income

Hi Dale, If we are understanding correctly, you are looking at the SAM, and specifically at the Proprietor Income column's payment to the Household rows. These payments can be negative, because Proprietors can lose money in some years. Since Proprietors are losing money that year it is accounted as a loss of Household Income. Thus when the Study Area Data shows that an Industry is 'earning' negative PI, in the SAM it shows that that negative PI gets 'paid' to Households.
