household income and proprietors income
How can proprietor income be negative for a household income group?
I'm thinking this is easy but I don't immediately see the answer, or rather know the right answer. I've got a few ideas but I can be so creative in coming up with wrong answers that I'd like to hear the right one.
Thanks!

IMPLAN SupportHi Dale, If we are understanding correctly, you are looking at the SAM, and specifically at the Proprietor Income column's payment to the Household rows. These payments can be negative, because Proprietors can lose money in some years. Since Proprietors are losing money that year it is accounted as a loss of Household Income. Thus when the Study Area Data shows that an Industry is 'earning' negative PI, in the SAM it shows that that negative PI gets 'paid' to Households. Please let us know if this is not the problem that you are seeing, and if you could also let us know what region you are working with that would be great, if you have further questions in this regard.
