Car rental expenditures

Hello Mark. We aren't entirely certain what you are trying to study here. Rather than providing you with information that may not address what you need, we would appreciate if you could help us understand a little bit more about what you are trying to accomplish. However, in looking at the industry spending pattern for Sector 362, commodity 3362-- Automotive equipment rental and leasing services would seem to be a more appropriate category to use versus the others you list in your post. My project is to study the economic impact of changing tourism expenditures on a local community as a result of an exogenous shock. One of the categories of expenditures we are considering including in a survey is local expenditures on auto rentals. Hope that makes things clearer,

Since you are doing a tourism study, we would recommend that you use a spending pattern to perform your analysis and 3362 for car rental would seem to be an appropriate sector for that expenditure in your survey.
