Inventory data

Hi, I have a county level historical IMPLAN Data for Alabama. Before 2001, all inventory data is zero for logging sectors. does this mean there was no inventory in this sector or these zeros means there is no information for the inventory of logging sectors? thank you

    Hi Hakan, Thank you for your post! This means that the BEA benchmark IO tables (2000 would be based on 1992 benchmark) had no change in inventory. Note that the Inventory value represents the change in inventory during the year and does not represent the inventory on hand. The Annual survey of Manufacturing (before 1997) would have inventory on hand. Thank you!
