Have all the industry under NAICS code been incorporated in 440 sectors in IMPLAN? I tried to search for NACIS code 221117 that represents power generation from biomass but could find any result under sector search.

  Hello, Yes, IMPLAN does have complete coverage of all NAICS industries, but often groups more than one NAICS industry into an IMPLAN sector. The sector search feature relates the 440 sectors to 2007 NAICS codes. If you visit the Census Bureau's NAICS website, you will see that 221117 was a new NAICS codes for 2012, and that the corresponding 2007 NAICS code is 221119, in which biomass electric power generation was grouped with other electric power generation types. The IMPLAN sector that corresponds to 2007 NAICS code 221119 is 31, Electric Power Generation, Transmission, and Distribution. It is a very broad sector, encompassing several different power generation technologies, as well as transmission and distribution.
