duplicate entries in IMPLAN data

Dear IMPLAN folks; Hope all goes well. I have a rather simple question with some data that we purchased recently. We became aware that there are different/multiple entries for the same pair of "payment" and "recipient" in IMPLAN, we wonder why this is the case? For example, in CA's IO table, it has following multiple rows/entires. 5001 Employee Compensation 10001 Households LT10k 300.5512085 5001 Employee Compensation 10001 Households LT10k 0 5001 Employee Compensation 10001 Households LT10k 1732.253906 We will be really grateful if someone can answer this question for us.

    Hi Yihsu, There are different “type of transfer” codes associated with each of those payments, which adds another dimension to the matrix. In your example: - the first payment is type of transfer code 15003, which is “other labor income” to households LT10k - the second is type of transfer code 10510, a $0 transfer payment - the third payment is type of transfer code 15002, which are wage & salary payments w/o social security to households LT10k You can see this if you go to Explore>Social Accounts>IxC Social Accounting Matrix>View By: Detail SAM THanks!
