Poultry Processing
Poultry Processing figure dramatically down in our 2013 data - from 13 B to 7 B? Can you check and see if there is any error or is this explainable by simply the data updates?
Thanks

IMPLAN SupportHi Janice, Thank you for your post! Would you mind providing us with additional information about your study. This is so our data team can re-create your model and provide for you an explanation. What study area data that your model is built on? What are your Inputs? Thanks!0 -
It is State of Georgia 2013 model. Using the built-in data as part of assessing the contribution. Thanks,0

IMPLAN SupportHi! Poultry processing output at the national level is estimated to have declined by approximately 40% from 2012 to 2013 (2013 raw output data are unavailable, so we project 2012 data using other more current variables). The national output estimate we are using for poultry processing is approximately $60 billion, close to the estimate from the latest Economic Census. The data points for Georgia generally track the trend of our national estimates. Part of the decline may be due to the use of different and more recent data sets, besides any real declines in the industry; for example, the 5-year Economic Census was made available during 2014 and is more comprehensive than the usual annual output data, which could lead to large shifts.
