Hi, I was wondering where on my IMPLAN software will I find information about each county's output per worker, employee compensation etc. Also how do I customize my data? So for example, if I want to make the state data compatible with county data, where would I go? Thank you

  • Hi Ali, You will be able to locate Output per Worker and Employee Compensation for your Study Area Data in the Explore Menu. In the Software, the Explore menu is on the left side and from there select Study Area Data. The default view by: Industry Detail, which provides you with Employee Compensation. If you then change the View by: Industry Summary, this will give you Output per Worker and Labor Income per Worker. These values will be in the dollar year of the underlying data (so they will be Output per Worker and Labor Income per Worker values in 2012 dollars if you are using a 2012 Model). I also wanted to mention that in the Setup Activities, when you enter your Direct Impact(s) you can hover your mouse over Employment and Employee Compensation to get the Direct affect of Output and Employee Comp. per Worker. These values are deflated based on the selected Event Year, so unless your Event Year is the same as your data year, you will see some variance between the values reported in the table and the tooltip values. Values in these fields can also be customized: https://implan.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=568:568&catid=237:kb20. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
