adding county to existing model

I have created about 47 (per project) models each generating the model overview, impact summary and impact top ten employment results. I realize that I need to add 1-2 counties to each model to include adjacent spatial impacts. How do I add counties (in the select data file) to an existing model? A follow-up, if I want to aggregate the models by state- can this be done linking 4-10 existing models? Giselle

  • Hi Giselle! Thank you for your post. I apologize if I have misread your post. My response includes the two ways that I read it. Unfortunately, you will not be able to add those counties to an existing model as you will need to build New Models to incorporate all of your geographical areas you wish included in those models. To build those models, have you used the Batch Model Template? If not, I have attached to this post. This will save you time in the model build process. You will not be able to aggregate 2 models together, to create 1 model. However you can include the states you wish to be aggregated when you build your new model. If you are trying to combine two models together to conduct a Multi Regional Input/Output Study (MRIO), then YES you can do that!!
