Could you confirm that indirect and induced jobs are new jobs that are created if direct jobs are new jobs. Is there a detailed explanation available? Thank you for your assistance

IMPLAN SupportHi Ishaq, Thank you for your post! When reporting Employment numbers, caution needs to be exercised especially when using the word Created. Depending on what you are analyzing, the size of the geographical region of the model and the duration of the impact, the Direct, Indirect and Induced employment impacts are typically more Supported than Created. How you decipher if a job is Created or Support is up to the analysts judgment, but extreme caution should be used in considering the Indirect and Induced Employment as 'created'. In addition when IMPLAN reports employment it is a head count or a roll up of full and part time jobs as well as seasonal. I have attached our spreadsheet that will allow you to convert IMPLAN Employment to an FTE.0
