IMPLAN Pro vs. IMPLAN Online Results
Hello,
I recently compared the results from a model built in IMPLAN Pro and IMPLAN Online for the same dollar value, industry sector, activity, LPP, and study region; and I noticed that the induced effects for Labor Income, Value Added and Output were slightly different between the two models. The Direct Employment, Labor Income and Value Added, all of which are imputed based on my input value, are identical for both models. My indirect effects are also the same. Why are the induced effects different and which set of results is more correct or accurate?
If it helps, here are the parameters set and my input used for both models:
Study Region: Massachusetts
Activity: Industry Change
Sales (Input): $2,589,809
Industry Sector: 492
LPP: 100%
Thanks!
Andrew

Hi Andrew. Thank you for your post. So that we can look into this further, would you mind letting us know what Event Year you are using for both the IMPLAN Pro and IMPLAN Online version. Also, if possible, it would be helpful if you could send us an Export of both result sets; this is so we can see exactly what you are seeing. You can email the Excel spreadsheets to: implangroup@implan.com Thanks!
