Induced Effects

Hi there I have a general question about induced effects. Say I were running an industry change associated with employment for a museum. Would the induced effects capture any visitor spending? Or are induced effects just associated with employee spending? Thank you, Julianne

    Hi Julianne! Thank you for your forum post! The Induced impacts would reflect the impact of Industries where Employees are spending their wages. If however you do have tourism spending information such as at Restaurants, Retail Stores, Hotels, Transportation; this is something that you can input into the Model to see the impact on the region.
