Changes to structural matrixes?

Hello agin, We are trying to re-create an impact report from roughly Dec of 2008. I have the newest version of IMPLAN, and today I downloaded the 2007 structural matrixes. We are getting the same industries but slightly different numbers for direct/indirect/induced effects. Have the structural matrixes changed in a way that would cause this disparity or could something else be the cause? Thanks

  • Structural matrices change every year as they are forced to conform to current year US National Income and Product Accounts. This year (2007) there was also a switch from the 1997 benchmark to the 2002 BEA benchmark. Multipliers will also change because industry characteristics change year-to-year. Eg, output per worker, labor income per worker, and profit to output relationships. There was a change in the 2007 structural matrices in April that would create differences from an earlier run.
