trade flows methodology
I've read your papers on how you estimate the intercounty trade flows and have a question for you. Would I be correct in saying you use the U.S. Commodity Trade Flow data to calibrate the gravity model, i.e. not the state-level data?

We use the National CFS data for the average Ton-miles and the modes of transportation used for each of the commodities. There is too much non-disclosure to allow the sub-national data to be of much use.0
