How does IMPLAN rectify P.O. Boxes in ZBP data?
PO boxes are listed in ZBP data as physical places that have establishments and employees. this is of course not the case in the real world, as PO's are points with no physical area (in most cases). How does IMPLAN rectify this in their zipcode level data and ensure there are no double counting problems?

We use the ZBP to distribute the County employment (county employment being ES202 wage and salary and REIS proprietors). Whether the zip codes are unique (point), po boxes or "normal" zips, they are still identified by the USPS as belonging within a county. The target zip holds a percentage of the employment and/or population of all the zips for a county. When you create a model of a county using all the zips for that county, the total employment equals the total employment of the county model itself. Note, there will be some zips with employment and no population and vice-versa.
