quick question on multipliers
When providing the employment impact of an industry in an area, I recall from my first training to use the SAM multipliers. A local university used the direct, indirect and induced effects. The SAM multiplier is 1.2 where as the direct is 23 for activity 19 in my study area. Which is the proper multiplier to cite?
Thx guys

The direct, indirect and induced multipliers are per one million dollar direct effect. The type SAM multiplier = (Direct + Indirect + Induced)/Direct. The type SAM tells you the output impact per dollar output change; or the job impact per job change for the employment Type SAM multiplier.
