Hi Jeff, The BEA benchmark from which we take spending patterns and Sectoring does change approximately every 5 years and the current Sectoring is based on the 2002 Benchmark, as it is the most recent release. However the data itself is largely based on actual collected data for the year of the database so if you data is 2010, the majority of the information reflects 2010 reported data. Where variances to this occur are where we have to extrapolate certain industries data of 'currently reported data' and the previous year's data due to lag time in certain Sectors data release. So for example, for some Sectors when we bring together the various data sets that we use; we may know 2010 employment, but only have 2009 production levels. In cases like this we may use the change in employment between 2010 and 2009 to extrapolate changes in the production.
