Transportation Cost Benefit / Efficiency Analysis

Hi Kathleen. We would recommend that you use TREDIS or some other program similar to it to calculate transportation cost benefit analysis or transportation efficiency analysis. IMPLAN is an Economic Impact Analysis model that estimates the impact in terms of jobs, labor income, output, and taxes of an initial change in an event, program, project, institution, or industry in the local economy. IMPLAN is not suited for answering questions about Valuation (that is, how much is a project worth? Or what are the benefits and costs of this particular project?). Also, IMPLAN is not designed to answer questions about Efficiency. Such as, is project “A” more profitable than project “B”?
