Hi - In effort to make sure the data that I am including in my models is consistent with Implan data I was hoping you could clarify the following question: What is actually in the Implan salary data? Does it include Taxes? Does it include Benefits. Thank You! Liz

Hi Elizabeth, Labor Income (Employment Compensation and Proprietor Income) in IMPLAN is a fully loaded payroll value. Thus it includes, all components of payroll taxes, income taxes, savings and benefit costs. It is in effect everything it costs to employ a worker. It is important that you use a fully loaded value because the software will remove all these elements from the entered value before spending payroll dollars to generate the Induced impact.
