Trade flows in the SAM

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I am trying to construct a SAM from IMPLAN (California) that has commodity-based trade flows. The table I got seems to have exports and imports by activity, making exports inconsistent with other final demands (commodity based). Cheers, Davdi

  Hi David, I apologize for the delay in our response. Industries/Institutions purchase a package of commodities. If you wish to see the breakout of commodities purchased by an industry or institution go to Explore> Social Accounts > Export > Structural Matrix Elements and choose on of the last two reports on the list. If I am not understanding the question, which table are you looking at? Thanks!
