Opening new industry

I want to estimate the impact of establishing a new forest based industry in a county. But the study area data does not have any value for that sector. So, what type of data do I need to estimate that impact and how can I do it in IMPLAN?? Unmesh

Hello, If an Industry doesn't exist in your region, you can still model its impact. By using the Analysis By Parts (http://www.implan.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=730:case-study-analysis-by-parts&catid=264:KB43) methodology, you can choose a spending pattern that fits the Industry, and estimate the Labor Income portion yourself as run it through a Labor Income Change activity.
