Economic Impact - Revenue in banks

Hi, My question concerns economic impact analysis. I need to understand the impact of a certain company where 50% of the companies revenue sits in US bank. However, this revenue has no other impact on the US economy (i.e. it is generated in another country). Should this revenue be included in the economic impact analysis. In other words, does the revenue that sits in US banks have an impact on the US economy that should be included in an economic impact analysis using Implan. Many Thanks, Liz

  Hi Elizabeth, Since the revenue is not generating any production as it is sitting in a bank account, then it should not be included in the impact analysis. However it may be worth mentioning in the report that this revenue exists. However, if you know the amount of interest and what that interest was spent on that was generated from the revenue; then that can be included in your impact analysis. Thanks
