Data Inconsistency
We were auditing our models and noticed that we were getting slightly different results when running what we believe to be the exact same analysis on the same models on different computers. On both machines, we've downloaded the Alaska package with county level data for 2012. The problem presents itself prior to any analysis. For example, if I simply do the following:
Open Model - Kenai Borough
then look at the Explore --> multipliers:
on implan3 on my computer, I see the following output multipliers for the industry code 115:
my computer co-worker computer
Direct 1. 1
Indirect 0.263601 0.250190
Induced 0.028654 0.027401
Total 1.293255 1.277592
The Model Overview and Social Accounts seem the same on the two sources.

IMPLAN SupportHi Lisa, Thank you for your post and attaching the screen shot of the Multipliers. Would you be able to send us the actual model that both you and your co-worker built. You can locate the model here: Computer > Libraries > Documents > My Documents > MIG > IMPLAN > Models. Thanks!0

Thank you for looking into it. Here's my file. Will attempt to attach my co-workers file next. I think they are too big and I'm getting denied. Trying zipped files now.0

IMPLAN SupportHi Lisa, Thank you for uploading those two models. We were able to identify the inconsistency to the Trade Flows. It appears as if your co-worker is running an older version of the Trade Flows. She will need to re-download the data order through the IMPLAN Software (Help menu > Download Data Order) and rebuild the model. Thanks0

We both re-downloaded the Alaska package, using the same order number and order key. This did not change either of our results. Should we have uninstalled anything beforehand?0

IMPLAN SupportHi Lisa, I apologize for the inconvenience of getting the same inconsistency. Since that did not work, I recommend deleting the Trade Flows first before re-downloading. You can find the Trade Flows in the following pathway: C Drive > Users > User's Name > AppData > Local MIG > IMPLAN > National Trade Flows > 2012 > AK. Delete then the AK folder. Our Support team would be happy to assist you as well, give us a call at 651-439-4421! Thanks0
