Constraining indirect impact only
How can I put constraints on the indirect impacts (because supplies are imported) without constraining the induced impact (the whole labor force is local to the model region, or at least as local as your commuting module assumes - I don't want to change that). Your Local Purchase Coefficient modifies both of these impacts and I only want to change the indirect effect.

IMPLAN SupportHi Paul, There is really no way to modify the RPC for every round of the Indirect Effects without modifying the Induced impacts as well. This is because the local availability of a commodity within a region principally should not be affected by who the consumer of the commodity is. If however, you know that your firm has higher rates of imports than other firms for specific commodities you can adjust the RPC that drives the first-round of Indirect Effects using the Analysis-by-Parts methodology. For this methodology you import the spending pattern for the Sector of interest and you can modify the LPP's for each of the commodity coefficients in the spending pattern based on your local knowledge. This will only modify the first-round of Intermediate Expenditure purchases and will not affect the Induced Effects whatsoever.
