Multiplier for R&D in different industries

Hello IMPLAN Users, Happy Holidays! I am Tao from Ohio. I have a question about R&D facilities. Do you/your industry experts know which multiplier we should assign to R&D facilities in different industries? Is there a universal multiplier or we have several multipliers for R&D in different industries? The closest industry I found is IMPLAN536Index – 456 (NAICS 5417) – Scientific Research and Development Services, which has direct and indirect employment effect of 1.77, and direct and indirect labor income effect of 1.55 in Ohio. But it seems low to me, I am expecting direct+indirect effect >2. Any thought? Thanks, Tao
