Performing a study within the state of Alabama - MRIO. The institution I am studying is located within one county. That one county is my base study area (Calhoun). The five counties surrounding the base study area is the "Region". The remaining 61 counties are the third area - Rest of Alabama. Event year is 2008. I ran an MRIO linking these three models together (from the base study model). There is no overlapping geography. I have attached my IMPLAN results. The induced effects of employment in the region (only 32 jobs) and rest of the state (only 100 jobs) are really low. I happen to know how many of their employees live in the three different study areas. 62% (1,745) in base study area - 30% (846) in surrounding region - 7% (199) in Rest of Alabama. Is there anyway I can customize my input or modify the output to make it more realistic? (Using IMPLAN V3) Thanks!
