investment expenditures
Is there anyway in Implan that I could get info on the investment expenditures in the different industries?

Hello Vani, We do not have capital investment spending totals by industry, but we do have capital investment spending patterns for all industries, albeit at an aggregated level (roughly at the 3-digit NAICS level, but in some cases more- or lessaggregated than that). You can view these spending patterns by navigating to Setup Activities > selecting Activity Options > Import > From Another Model. You then need to navigate to your IMPLAN Utilities folder typically found in Documents > MIG > Implan > Utilities. The two relevant impdb files are Investment_EFF_only_536Sector.impdb and Investment_with_Structures_536Sector.impdb. The “EFF only” file is for equipment, furniture, and fixtures, and the “with structures” includes EFF and adds investment in construction. If you do not have these files in your Utilities folder, you can download them at the links below.
