Financial services in IMPLAN

What's included in interindustry payments to and final demand purchases from the IMPLAN financial services ("banking") sectors? Is it just the net interest received from and fees paid by customers? Or do those transactions also include the value of any new loans issued minus the amounts of loan principal repaid? I'm thinking it's the former, but I wanted to check with the experts.
