Demand for forest products

What level of commodity demand detail is available in the IMPLAN database? For example, does the software have any details on demand for specific types of tree species (e.g. Aspen, Maple, Hardwoods). If not, do you have any suggestions for how one might calculate the demand coefficients for a particular species?

    Hello Monica, The IMPLAN software does not have commodity detail at that level. Unfortunately, we do not have any suggestions regarding the calculation of such a coefficient. Regards, IMPLAN Staff
