county / sector output data

Dear Sir or Madam,

I'd like to clarify with you the way the output data reported by IMPLAN for a specific county and sector are calculated. If a county hosts the headquarter (HQ) of a large company, the output value for that county/sector is only the output generated by the HQ itself, correct? It does not include the output of the HQ in addition to the output of the branches/plants where production (e.g. manufacturing) actually takes place when the latter are located in a different county.  thanks for your help.

    Hello Sandy!

    Your understanding here is correct! The Output value for the county where the headquarters is located will only include the operations of the HQ itself (unless there are other branches of the company that happen inside the same county), not any Output for branch operations that happen outside of that county.
