What is going on with folders ?

Over the last couple of weeks I am unable to move projects to new folders. All my old folders show up fine -- but any folder I have created in the past two weeks is not available for projects to be moved to. Please advise.

    Hi Kurt,

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble placing projects in newer folders. There are a couple of scenarios as to why this could be happening. Sometimes, a folder can accidentally be placed within another folder. You can check your existing folders by clicking on their name which will then show you which folders and Projects are located within the main folder.

You can also click on your sub folders to check if your newly created folder is located in a sub folder.

Here are some steps if you see your folder but cannot move your Project into the folder. You can move a project to a folder by clicking on the checkbox next to the Project name.

Doing this will turn the 'Move to Folder' option at the top of the page to teal, indicating you are now able to move your Project. Click on the 'Move to Folder' option and select the appropriate folder you would like to move your Project to from the popup modal.

Alternatively, you can move a project to a folder by clicking on the three dots next to the 'Last Opened Date' which will open up a popup menu with a few options.

Click on the 'Move to Folder' option and select the appropriate folder from the popup modal you would like to move your project to.

  • Hello Kurt!

After further investigating the current behavior of placing Projects into folders, our Product team was able to find an issue with moving a Project that’s already inside a folder into other nested folders (that are in the same parent folder). We are currently looking into potential fixes that can be implemented to resolve this problem.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Best,

    Michael Nealy
