I am looking at the Household Industry Demand and I need to confirm one thing. I have built a small model for one ZIP code, I have not done this before, and I just want to make sure of one thing:
Does the Household Industry Demand show me the household $ spent on those industries only within the ZIP. or does that show what the households within that ZIP are spending on whichever industry both in and out of that ZIP?
You are correct when you say that the Household Industry Demand shows the amount of money spent on those industries within the ZIP.
Keep in mind that households may purchase more of that commodity from outside of that ZIP and the Industry itself may export some of its commodity outside of the ZIP. The Household Industry Demand table simply shows the amount of an Industry's production that was consumed by Households in that ZIP.
