Why is the Regions Household Commodity Demand for Electricity $0 for CA?

Hi, 

I am looking at the 'Regions Household Commodity Demand' dataset in the study area data.  I noticed that electricity 3039 demand is always $0 for all household income levels.  Why is this the case?

    Hi Luke, 

    This is because households do not buy electricity directly, instead, electricity bill payments are made to the Electricity transmission and distribution Industry. You'll want to check out the Commodity 3047 Electricity transmission and distribution.

    The Electricity transmission and distribution Industry purchases Electricity from the the different Electricity producers.
