Employment & Occupation Sums Differ

I'm running a single county contribution analysis and the result sums of employment and occupations differ. In total, occupation are 15% less than employment. What might explain the difference?

    Hello!

So the Occupational Employment Results are only going to be representative of Wage & Salary Employment, not Proprietor Employment. As Proprietor Employment is going to be a component of Total Employment, the discrepancy you are noting is due to this.

    Hope this helps!

  • Makes sense & somewhat suspected. Thanks Michael!
