UPDATED CORE COMPETENCY DATA
Core competency data has been updated to the latest Occupational and Skills Information System (OaSIS) dataset, OaSIS 2025 (Version 1.0). This dataset includes three new Abilities: General Learning Ability, Motor Coordination, and Form Perception as well as updated ratings for some occupations in the Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge categories.
OaSIS is a dataset that provides comprehensive information on occupations, including their skills, knowledge, and work environments. The basis for OaSIS 2025 v1.0 is the National Occupation Classification (NOC) 2021 Version 1.0 and the Skills and Competencies Taxonomy (SCT) 2025 Version 1.0. More information about the new version can be found on the OaSIS webpage.
The previous IMPLAN Canada Occupation data for the 235 Industry Set used OaSIS 2023 Version 1.0. That version of OaSIS was based on the NOC 2021 Version 1.0 and SCT 2023 Version 1.0.
