INTRODUCTION
IMPLAN's AI-powered tools , AI Connect, AI Summary, and AI Conversational Analytics , are designed to help you get more out of your data, faster. They all you to:
- Connect your IMPLAN data and models to your existing AI workflows.
- Turn your results into an audience-ready narratives.
- Ask the Data Library questions in plain language.
Because these tools use AI to help interpret and communicate your results, IMPLAN keeps them off by default. Every user decides for themselves when to turn them on. This article covers where to find that setting, what changes once you opt in, and how to opt back out.
DETAILS
Where to Opt-in
The AI Features opt-in lives on your User Profile page.
- Click your account icon in the top right corner of IMPLAN.
- Select User Profile.
- Look for the AI Features section.
Turning on AI Features
IMPLAN AI features are not turned on by default. If you wish to opt-in to AI features you will need to:
- Log in to IMPLAN and open your User Profile.
- Find the AI Features toggle.
- Switch it to “On” (Opted In).
- Save your changes.
Once enabled, AI-powered menu options become available across your account, including:
- AI Summary, from the menu in Project Results
- Conversational Analytics, for eligible accounts with Data Library
- AI Connect, for eligible API customers
Note: Some AI features are also tied to your account's plan or add-ons. AI Connect, for example, is currently available only to API customers. If you've opted in but still don't see a feature you expect, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to confirm your account's eligibility.
Opting Back Out
You can return to the same setting on your User Profile page at any time and switch AI Features back off. This hides the associated menu options but does not delete or change any results, summaries, or reports you've already generated.
