Study area data - dollar values

When I build a model based on 2008 data and explore the study area, are the values expressed in 2008 dollars or in current dollars depending on my default year?

    Only the scenario results are displayed in the default dollar year (there is a dropdown box to the left which shows the year of display). All reports in "Explore" are in the year of the database.
