IMPLAN models economies in three geographies today: the United States, Canada, and Global (80 countries plus a Global Remainder region). Europe Subnational Regions is coming in Q4 2026. Most IMPLAN features work in every geography; a few are available only for the United States, or for the United States and Canada. The table below shows what is available where.

- Available everywhere: MRIO, Forward Linkages, guided projects, industry and region customization, custom aggregation schemes, tax impact reporting, the API, AI Summary and AI Connect.
- United States and Canada only: Occupation Data and Environmental Data.
- United States only: Data Library, Foreign Trade Data and Conversational Analytics, plus the Annual Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Impacts of Green Energy guided projects.
- Geographic detail: the United States goes down to counties and below, Canada to 76 economic regions, and Global to the national level.
WHAT ABOUT EUROPE SUBNATIONAL REGIONS?
IMPLAN Europe Subnational Regions is coming in Q4 2026, with IMPLAN release 26.6. At launch it will include:
- Geographic detail: NUTS 1-3 regions for the 27 EU countries and ITL 1-3 regions for the UK, plus national models for Switzerland, Norway, Serbia and Montenegro (32 countries in total).
- MRIO, the API and AI Connect.
- Results in euros (EUR) and pounds sterling (GBP).
